Jumma villagers staged a demonstration in Kaokhali yesterday in protest at the killing of Jharna Dewan alias Dhurungyo by Bengali settlers.

A photo exhibition on the recent attacks on Jumma people in Sajek and Khagrachari was held today on Dhaka University campus.
Inaugurated by Dr. Akmal Hossain, professor of International Relations Department at Dhaka University, the exhibition put a total of 109 photographs on display.
