On 5 December 2005 at around 7.00 p.m. following three JMB cadres were arrested from a hotel at Reserve Bazar in Rangamati town:
1) Shamim Hossain (24) s/o Md. Abdul Aziz of Amin Bazar of Savar in Dhaka;
2) Md. Yusuf (21) s/o Md. Abdul Aziz of 9 Mohiuddin Lane under Chock Bazar Imamganj in Dhaka;
3) Mahfuzur Rahman (24) s/o Md. Abdur Rahman of 9 Mohiuddin Lane under Chock Bazar Imamganj in Dhaka.

Observation of 8th Anniversary of Signing of the CHT Accord
On 2 December 2005 the 8th anniversary of signing of the CHT Accord was observed in three
hill districts of CHT, Dhaka and Chittagong. PCJSS held protest meeting and brought out
processions in the headquarters of three hill districts and sub-districts (upazilas) demanding full implementation of the Accord.
